Pipeline inspection camera manufacturer with a national distribution channel needs a Direct Sales Account Manager to cover New Jersey and Delaware to increase sales and market share through territory management, sales growth and development, motivation and expertise. Candidate needs to have technical and hands-on capabilities when demonstrating equipment in field applications. Must be able to work synergistically with others in sales management within the company to ensure continued sales growth and market share. DSAM will need to develop complete knowledge of several inspection products, field applications and competitive products. Successful candidate will have experience selling capital equipment to municipalities or industrial accounts.

Location: New Jersey and Delaware
Education: High School / Trade school / College degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 7 years specific or related industry experience
Compensation: Base salary plus commission, full benefits
Travel: 15% overnight travel

Sales / Sales Management
o Lead key account/high value sales opportunities.
o Develop and execute a territory plan with sales management to achieve annual unit/revenue sales goals.
o Assist sales management in recognizing and projecting future business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
o Ability to work productively amongst sales team, management, and owners.
o Establish/maintain solid relationships with customers.
o Plan, organize and execute specific sales and product initiatives.
o Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics/GP or other CRM.
o Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.

Product Management
o Complete technical understanding of the video inspection product line.
o Ability to communicate key selling features to customers.
o Successfully operate equipment in the field for varied applications.
o Learn and apply practical field knowledge.
o Be a leader in marketplace, known as a knowledgeable resource and asset.
o Assist the product group with trainings and development of the sales partner network on all current and new products.

o Ability to give presentations in various size group and settings.
